Debug Guides
Waveform-first, not spec-first — symptom, likely cause, and where to look next.
Reading a protocol spec tells you what a signal means. It doesn't tell you what a stalled burst or a lost handshake pulse actually looks like when you pull it up in a debugger at 2am. These guides are organized the other way round: what you're seeing on the waveform, what usually causes it, and where to look next — written for register-access and clock-management blocks in real SoC and AI accelerator designs. No specific debug tool is assumed.
AMBA · AXI / APB / AHB / CDC
Reading AXI, APB and AHB Like a Debugger, Not a Spec
CDC · Clock Domain Crossing
Debugging CDC Violations, Not Just Reading Them
STA · Static Timing Analysis
Debugging STA Violations: Setup, Hold & Timing Closure
